Chart Watch
America Goes Gaga

Nine months after it was released and after topping the charts already in Australia and Canada, Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" becomes the most popular song in America. With 419,000 downloads in a single week, the track scores the second biggest week for downloads ever behind Flo Rida's "Low" last January. January is always a huge month for iTunes because all the kids fill up their newly purchased iPods with their iTunes gift cards they got from their grandma on Christmas. "Just Dance" has made a slow and steady climb to the top, first appearing on the Hot 100 22 weeks ago which makes it the longest ascent since Creed's "With Arms Wide Open" took 27 weeks to reach #1 in 2000. Also, for the first time in over a decade, there are absolutley no new debuts in the entire chart.

1. "Just Dance" - Lady Gaga feat. Colby O'Donis
2. "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" - Beyonce
3. "Live Your Life" - T.I. feat. Rihanna
4. "Love Story" - Taylor Swift
5. "Heartless" - Kanye West
6. "Hot N Cold" - Katy Perry
7. "I'm Yours" - Jason Mraz
8. "Womanizer" - Britney Spears
9. "Let It Rock" - Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne
10. "Love Lockdown" - Kanye West
