Chart Watch: Owl City Returns To No. 1 Spot

After being kicked out of the penthouse for a week by Jason DeRulo's "Whatcha Say", Owl City returns to No. 1 with "Fireflies".

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys continue to surprise with "Empire State of Mind" as the song reaches an all-time high position at No. 2. I thought for sure his Rihanna duet would be Blueprint 3's highest charting single, but Yankees be damned, his ode to the Big Apple is a heartbeat away from being the top song in the country.

Rihanna's aforementioned collaboration with Jay-Z actually drops out of the top ten this week, but Rihanna makes and entrance into the winner's circle with a song of her own. "Russian Roulette" crash lands in the No. 9 spot.

A few weeks ago, I was sure that the Black Eyed Peas would manage to get their third No. 1 hit of the year with "Meet Me Halfway". It dropped out of the top ten last week without me even realizing it, and it currently sits at No. 15. We can all breath a sigh of relief, the Peas won't be bothering us anytime soon.
