The 2009 MTV European Music Awards were held in Germany to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
U2 performed for the occasion in front of a crowd of 10,000 at the Brandenburg Gate. They played "Magnificent", "One", and closed the set out with "Sunday Bloody Sunday" with Jay-Z. "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is my favorite U2 song of all time and I got chills watching this. It's breathtaking.
