1. Keep the camera hidden until you need it. All too often, tourists can be seen walking around with their camera strapped around their neck. Sometimes, even this isn't enough, and they have to have both a digital camera and a video camera out and ready. I know that taking pictures is an important part of the experience, but you can do that without looking obnoxious.
