The Killers To Go On Hiatus

After a grueling year-long touring schedule, Las Vegas rockers The Killers have announced they are going on hiatus.

"Unless some surprise thing comes up, but most likely these are our last shows for a while.  We're having a break.  We haven't had a break in quite  a while.  It's just been touring and making records and on and on and on," said guitarist Dave Keuning to the Australian Associated Press.

The band has been a constant 17 Tracks favorite.  Their 2004 debut Hot Fuss was ranked the No. 2 Best Album of the Decade while its follow-up Sam's Town placed No. 17.  They also scored four singles on 17 Track's Top 100 Songs of the Decade list with "Somebody Told Me" (No. 6), "Mr. Brightside" (No. 24), "When You Were Young" (No. 42), and "All These Things That I've Done" (No. 65).
