Eminem Tops Album Charts with Monster First Week

Rapper Eminem, the biggest selling artist of the 2000s, makes a massive debut on this week's Billboard album charts as his Recovery sold 741,000 in its opening week.  That marks not only the biggest opening week for an album in 2010, but the biggest since 2008 when AC/DC sold 784,000 copies of their Black Ice.  Slim Shady's numbers are an improvement on his 2009 Relapse (which was the album with the second highest opening week sales of 2009) with 608,000 copies sold.
