With only 29 days remaining until the premier of the seventh Harry Potter film, fans have been waiting in anticipation for tickets to finally go on sale.
Utah theaters released the midnight showing times and locations earlier this week, and by the late evening of Oct. 19, tickets for both midnight shows at the Provo Towne Center were sold out.
With two big universities within a ten mile radius, the Provo-Orem area is populated with over 55,000 young students. Most of these students have grown up with the Harry Potter series; as Harry went through adolescence, so did many students in the 18-24 age range, making it easy to relate with and grow to love the characters of the series.
Nearly 50 movie trailers have been released, each adding to the excitement and expectations of the upcoming film. Earlier this fall, a screening was held for the film, and reviews came back positive, accrediting the film as true and accurate to the book, more so than a few of the films in the past.
Die-hard fans can't wait for the film, while a small percentage of the world observes in awe, not understanding the phenomenon because they don't like or haven't read the books.
The Orem University Mall still has tickets for the 12:05 a.m. and the 12:07 a.m. showings. But buy your tickets now, or you may have to wait and watch it with less-enthused fans!
