Phoenix's "Lisztomania"

Before there was "Beatlemania" there was "Lisztomania". Hungarian pianist Franz Liszt spent the late 1880's wooing woman during his standing room only performances. The fanatical following of the European superstar inspired a film starring Ringo Starr as the Pope and has now inspired a track from French alt-rockers Phoenix. Check out their album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix . They don't even sound French do they?
